Introduction of Prof. Keith H. SakudaKeith H. Sakuda is an Associate Professor of business management at the University of Hawaii – West Oahu.He is a former resident of Fukuoka, where he taught at the local high school through the Japan Exchange Teaching Program.He currently serves as the president of the Hawaii-Fukuoka Kenjinkai, the organization tasked with maintaining the Hawaii-Fukuoka Sister State Relationship through official government, business, and educational exchanges.
Keith’s research interests include cross-cultural management, intercultural relations, and social entrepreneurship.He is the current chairman of the board for the Hawaii Global Education Foundation and the former president of the Western Casewriters Association.His industry consulting includes awards in agricultural and sustainable entrepreneurship, for which he was an invited speaker at Harvard University’s Social Entrepreneurship Conference.

It is my pleasure to welcome you. As local host for the conference, I encourage all delegates to enjoy the wonders of Fukuoka while engaging in our exchange of scholarship and research.
